What one IT company in Malaysia changes in practice

One vendor is easy to claim and harder to mean. Here is what it looks like on a real project.

A typical institutional job touches four things at once: hardware that has to be bought through a compliant route, a network it sits on, software that runs on top, and someone who answers the phone in year three. Split across four suppliers, each boundary becomes a place where work stops. The server vendor says the network is wrong. The network vendor says the application is misconfigured. The developer says the hardware is undersized. Everyone is partly right and nobody is accountable.

Because we hold eight MOF field codes across hardware, software, development, networking, data management, security and multimedia, those boundaries sit inside one contract instead of between four. That matters most for public sector buyers, where every additional supplier is another procurement process, another set of documents and another party who can miss a deadline without consequence. It matters commercially too: when something breaks, there is one number to call and no argument about whose fault it is.
